Jonathan Knowles, President and Founder, brings nearly two decades of seasoned expertise in logistics, multi-trades project management, and sustainable energy leadership. Launching his career 19 years ago, Jonathan pioneered the creation of a chartered aircraft division within a publicly traded transport company, ultimately advancing through eight progressively responsible roles over a decade. His leadership culminated as National Director of Expedited Operations, supporting 75 locations, an annual revenue base of $480,000,000 and managing a workforce of 5,000 office staff and owner-operator drivers.

Transitioning from logistics to construction, Jonathan co-founded a multi-trades enterprise based in Ontario, which rapidly scaled to 40 employees. Under his guidance, the company successfully executed electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration projects nationwide, demonstrating his capacity to manage complex technical operations and deliver large-scale results.

Jonathan’s commitment to community and sustainability extends beyond business. For over 20 years, he has contributed as a board member for numerous not-for-profits and charities, including initiatives focused on poverty alleviation, homeless reintegration, YMCA programming, and youth entrepreneurship at the University of Guelph. Notably, he founded an NGO appointed as the official facilitator for the city’s municipally and federally funded NetZero 2050 plan, aligning major automotive, institutional, and commercial stakeholders toward a shared environmental vision.

In 2018, Jonathan expanded his impact by running for city council. Finishing third in a 60-candidate race for just two available seats, he strengthened valuable governmental relationships and deepened his understanding of policy advocacy at the municipal, provincial, and federal levels. His ongoing collaborations with city council and other levels of government underscore his role as a trusted advocate for holistic energy efficiency and sustainability strategies.

As president, Jonathan lead a board comprising representatives from Alectra Utilities, University of Guelph, municipal management, Union Gas, the Home Builders Association, and senior executives from major local enterprises. Beyond his professional and civic commitments, he cherishes time with his two children, Jersie, 14, and Carter, 12, who remain his greatest sources of pride and inspiration and is grateful to co-parent with their amazing mother Jackie who has served the community as a Personal Support Worker for over 15 years and now manages a local seniors home care agency.

During COVID-19 Jonathan took on a two year role with a national homecare agency as a District Director supporting a team of over 700 personal support workers and nurses to deliver care to seniors in their home. Once bans were lifted and life resumed as we knew it he returned to the field of sales and project management in the energy space with Titanium Mechanical in Manitoba where to this day he continues to support the Nebula Group of companies develop their trades business as a sales and project management consultant.
